Casino Vienna

Austria’s capital Vienna is located in the east of the country and lies on the banks of the Danube River. Mozart, Beethoven and Sigmund Freud have shaped much of Vienna’s cultural scene, but long before their arrival, Vienna was already the centre of Europe’s attention, since the Habsburg family had their Imperial palaces here, including the lovely palaces at Hofburg and Schönbrunn. Vienna’s Museums Quartier district is a must-see part of the city, boasting fabulous art collections with works by Gustav Klimt, Egon Schiele and most of Europe’s other famous painters. A visit to the Wiener Staatsoper, the white Lipizzaner horses at the Spanish Hofreitschule (Riding School) and a day spent at Vienna’s Zoo, Tiergarten Schönbrunn, are among the highlights for Vienna tourists.

The café culture is not to be missed, nor the elegant balls and concerts that pack the city’s calendar. For more earthly pursuits, Casino Vienna is an elegant building with a great history. Visitors must be at least 18 years old and should be well-dressed, carrying ID such as their passport, ID card or driving license.
