Canary Islands

Canary IslandsThe Canary Islands are an autonomous region of Spain and a major tourist destination, attracting around 12 million tourists each year. This small chain of islands is located in the Atlantic Ocean, just 100 km west of the southern border of Morocco. The Canary Islands are characterized by year-round warm weather, and offer exquisite beaches, extensive sand dunes, 5-star amenities such as luxury resorts and casinos, vibrant towns and small pastoral cities.

The most popular islands in the archipelago include Tenerife, Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura. The capital of the regions is shared by the cities of Santa Cruz (Tenerife) and Las Palmas (Gran Canaria). La Plams de Gran Canaria is the largest city and hub of commercial activity within the archipelago. Here visitors will find the region’s best hotels and restaurants.
