Melilla

Melilla is a tiny Spanish exclave on the northern cost of Morocco, with an area of barely over 12 square kilometers. Bordering Morocco, the area exhibits a fusion of cultures that attracts visitors from all over the world. La Cuevas del Conventico is a frequently-visited site in Melilla and consists of a series of fascinating underground caves. Around town, tourists will encounter both Moroccan and Spanish restaurants and have the opportunity to sample the cuisine of both distinctive cultures.

Not far from Melilla’s port, visitors will find the Gran Casino Melilla. The beautiful casino includes classic tables games like Poker, Blackjack and Roulette, along with electronic games, a bar and small cafeteria. An excellent place for night owls, the casino is open to those over 18 with a valid ID and proper casual dress is required.
